HealQu Calcium Alginate Wound Dressing - Box of 5

Calcium Alginate Dressing is made of natural fibers derived from seaweed which has been shown to have natural healing properties. The highly absorbent dressing quickly absorbs exudates and forms a bacterial resistant, gel-like covering over the wound, maintaining a moist environment for ideal wound healing. The gel-like surface also keeps the dressing from adhering to the wound to minimize pain on removal.

This type of dressing is best used on moderately to heavily exuding partial to full thickness wounds including (but not limited to):

• Surface trauma and local hemostasis
• Post-surgical and donor site wounds
• Venous/arterial leg ulcer
• Cavity wounds
• Pressure sores
• Diabetic ulcers
